France, Italy, Spain and Portugal are the countries in which grapes have been grown for hundreds of years, primarily by the local climate. France is number one among the wine-manufacturer countries, Italy ranks second.
Wine was already known in ancient times. First wine was created in the Middle East and China, where it was already known 3000 years before Christ.
